Dr. Harms is board certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Practice.

He has been to Honduras with the Hackett-Hemwall foundation in 2003, 2005-2008, when he served as a prolotherapy instructor.

Has been an instructor at University of Wisconsin - Madison Prolotherapy seminar 2004 - 2008

He has volunteered his prolotherapy services multiple times at the Beulah Land Natural Medicine clinic.
